ATTENTION LETTER WRITERS - SNAIL-MAIL WINS
Decision makers know that the commitment of the writer is reflected by the effort made, and when a letter is published it carries a far larger importance to an official than one mailed to him, and that letter is 10 to 100, maybe a thousand times more effective than providing an email to decision makers who will flush it down their hardrive. Editors of papers email is fine.

Linking our web site or sending our information to good folks is appreciated. Letters to the editor are needed now.

Suggestions:

1) Do not send attachments, with virus scares, cut and paste is a safer method.
2) Provide name, phone number, and the city you live in.

Read the web site, government and parks sites, then write a succinct factual letter to the editor of the papers listed below.

The "Short List is the ones that are running with it. Click here for the comprehensive "Long List".

Letters from afar are valuable so don't be shy, regardless of your writing skills. Short ones that describe your feelings are better than rewriting just "facts" from our web site.
