CATHEDRAL GROVE

Witness Vigil continues, media alerted us that Barisoff insists that an injuction is still in the works. Amazing that ten days of no logging have passed with no application. "This sets a record in my fifteen year of activism," states Syd Haskell of Carmanah Forestry Society, "but another possiblity is that the legal precedents that steamroller over forest company confrontations when the government is the intervenor do not apply when it is BC Parks that wants to log BC Parks."

We will inform all media of an injuction application when we first catch wind of it. We have requested Barisoff's office to inform us of any application so that we can challenge such.
